Free Tour of Poplar Hill Mansion
Poplar Hill Mansion
http://www.poplarhillmansion.org/
This beautiful Federal period manor house was built circa 1800 and is Salisbury Maryland's oldest home. Now operated as a museum, the home was originally built by Major Levin Handy on a part of the tract called Pemberton's Good Will. Luckily, this house was far enough removed from the great fires in the center of town during the mid 19th century that it escaped destruction. The two-story, five-bay house is richly decorated dwelling retaining a high percentage of its original woodwork. The bold block cornices, intricate fanlight entrance and Palladian style windows are prominent exterior features. The interior spaces are distinguished by a wealth of neoclassical carved woodwork and has recently been restored to its original color scheme and furnished true to its period.

When you tour with us we ask that you bring along a non-perishable food item to share with our local food bank, The Joseph House.

This is accomplished by what is known as looping.  There is never a "backing track" to play along with, which is used by some other players out there. His vocals and music will reach the deepest part of you while it sets your senses alive. He plays sounds from the current popular, to classic rock, to Dave Matthews, to his own original compositions as he touches on just about any genre you may desire.

The highly abbreviated Travis Tritt timeline has the young Georgian incorporating lifelong influences in Southern Rock, blues and gospel into his country during a honky-tonk apprenticeship that led him to Warner Bros. His 1990 debut Country Club and its succession of hits put him in the vanguard of the genre’s early ’90s boom. At the same time, his conspicuous lack of a cowboy hat and musical aggressiveness set him apart. The next eight albums and scores of hit singles led him to amass more than 25 million in career album sales, two Grammys, three CMA Awards and a devoted fan base that filled venues coast-to-coast.

Kashmir at Bikefest
Ocean City Inlet
http://ocbikefest.com/
Kashmir brings only the best of Led Zeppelin to their fans.  They seek to re-create the experience of a 70's Zeppelin show utilizing authentic vintage stage gear, costumes, and special effects, with great attention to detail in a non pretentious way.  But most importantly, Kashmir does not take liberties on improving the music. Led Zeppelin should be played as it was using only the equipment of the era, and should be reproduced dead on with great respect and admiration. "It's not about us, it's about Led Zeppelin".  Kashmir performs Led Zeppelin's entire catalog including Led's Zeppelin's classic movie, The Song Remains The Same.

Be sure to check out Kashmir on the Boardwalk Stage!

Dave Hawkins at Harpoon Hanna's
Harpoon Hanna's
http://www.harpoonhannasrestaurant.com/
Dave Hawkins, an accomplished musician, has been playing music for what seems to be his entire life. Music is his passion and he is passionate about how it's perceived throughout his audience. He plays many guitars, harmonica, and fiddle and when you hear him you will think there is a whole band, not just one person.

Dave Hawkins, an accomplished musician, has been playing music for what seems to be his entire life. Music is his passion and he is passionate about how it's perceived throughout his audience. He plays many guitars, harmonica, and fiddle and when you hear him you will think there is a whole band, not just one person.

Interesting facts about Ocean City Maryland
  • The boardwalk benches from the Coast Guard Museum north to Thrasher's all face the boardwalk. From the Northside of the Pier Building (Ripley's) to 4th Street there are benches facing both the boardwalk and the ocean. From 4th Street North to the end of the boardwalk all of the benches face the boardwalk; the sea wall runs from 4th Street North and is about hip high; therefore sitting on a bench facing the ocean; you would not be able to see very much. At one time the benches from 4th Street North were flip back benches; meaning the back could move so that you could sit facing either direction; however in order to make the seating on the boardwalk more aesthetically pleasing per the Boardwalk Development Association those benches were done away with and a more decorative bench was used that does not give you the ability to face either direction.
