Thin Ice at BJ's
BJ's on the Water
http://www.bjsonthewater.com/
Every time you hear a great song from your past, it brings back all kinds of memories and emotions. The song could be from the 60's, the 70's, 80's, or the 90's. They were songs with a melody and were fun to sing and dance along with.  Where ever you catch the Eastern Shore's band Thin Ice, you'll catch a lot of those great songs. These dedicated musicians work hard at their craft, to bring back songs that you don't often hear on the radio.  Your favorite, oldies and classic rock are still here, and live on Delmarva when Thin Ice is playing.

He plays many guitars, harmonica, and fiddle and when you hear him you will think there is a whole band, not just one person. This is accomplished by what is known as looping.  There is never a "backing track" to play along with, which is used by some other players out there. His vocals and music will reach the deepest part of you while it sets your senses alive. He plays sounds from the current popular, to classic rock, to Dave Matthews, to his own original compositions as he touches on just about any genre you may desire.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at the Freeman Stage
Freeman Stage
http://freemanstage.org/
2013 marked the 20th Anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s remarkable arrival onto the music scene. In it’s first years, having secured their legendary residency at the Derby nightclub in Los Angeles, they reminded the world—in the middle of the grunge era, no less—that it was still cool to swing, big band style. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy hit pop music superstardom with their appearance in front of millions during the halftime show of the 1999 Super Bowl, while their 2003 New Orleans inspired album, Save My Soul, shifted focus to playing theaters, performing arts centers, and large outdoor venues to selling out shows at the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Lincoln Center, Chastain Park and Constitution Hall, to name just a few. The band often plays more than 150 shows a year and has appeared as special guests with many of the great American symphony orchestras.
